Last updated: 5 September 2026
Android package: com.tursinalabs.kelola
1. Scope
These terms apply only to the Kelola app published by Tursina Labs. Other Tursina Labs products are covered by the studio Terms of Service. How we handle information for this app is described in the Kelola Privacy Policy.
By installing or using Kelola, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. The app
Kelola is a client on your phone that administers Linux hosts over SSH. Nothing is installed on the server by Kelola beyond the public key you choose to add. There is no Tursina Labs cloud account for Kelola. Features may change as the product evolves.
3. Your responsibilities
- Only connect to hosts you are authorized to administer.
- You are responsible for enrollment (including
authorized_keys), host configuration, sudo rules, and the effects of read, mutate, and destructive probes. - Keep your phone secure. Compromising the device can expose access to enrolled hosts.
- Do not use Kelola for unlawful access, harassment, or attacks.
4. Security behavior of the app
Kelola refuses password authentication and root login. That does not remove your duty to configure hosts safely, review commands, and use read-only mode when appropriate. Admin actions can stop services, delete files, or make a host unreachable.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Access systems without authorization
- Use Kelola to distribute malware or abuse networks
- Attempt to extract private keys from the device keystore
- Misrepresent the app or Tursina Labs
6. Intellectual property
Kelola, its name, and original branding belong to Tursina Labs and its licensors. Open-source components retain their own licenses. These site terms govern your use of the published app distribution; they do not replace third-party license texts.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. Server administration carries risk of data loss, downtime, and security impact. Tursina Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of Kelola, including damage to hosts or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Termination
You may stop using Kelola at any time by uninstalling the app and removing its public key from hosts. We may stop distributing the app or update these terms as described below.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. The current terms are always at https://www.tursinalabs.com/kelola/terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
